Julie welcomes you to her beautiful childhood home, which she has completely renovated while preserving its original style. She has turned it into a lovely corner of paradise. At her guests' disposal: 3 bungalows and 4 bedrooms, beautifully appointed and designed with local and natural materials. Taste, color and heart. Passionate about permaculture, her garden abounds with fruit, vegetables and aromatic plants, all of which can be found in her exceptional table d'hôte. Donkeys and other farm animals will delight children.

Rutete Eco-lodge is located near the entrance to Akagera National Park in Rwanda's Eastern Province. Located in the middle of a forest garden in Rwinkwavu, it offers high quality, affordable accommodation in harmony with nature. The establishment is committed to environmental respect as well as social protection and support for local communities. Thus, the accommodations are built with local and sustainable materials. They are equipped with solar panels and water recycling ponds. The rooms are all elegant and comfortable. Rutete Eco-Lodge welcomes tourists for short or long stays. It also offers an overnight stay. Located in the open air, its restaurant offers traditional Rwandan cuisine and international cuisine with organic products.

The rooms are lovely, complete with four-poster beds and indoor-outdoor showers. Service is great, and the food was a perfect mix of local cuisine and more general dishes.
