Ascension du mont Bisoke
Je suis arrivé à Musanze en bus vers 17h30, en espérant pouvoir faire l'ascension le lendemain.
Comme le RWANDA DEVELOPMENT BOARD était déjà fermé j'ai appelé le numéro inscrit sur le guide Petit Futé (celui de la forêt sacrée de Buhanga parce que l'autre ne marche pas). Mon interlocuteur a pris mes coordonnée et m'a organisé mon transport en taxi pour le lendemain 6h depuis Musanze pour Kinigi puis pour le reste de la journée et le retour à Musanze pour 80$.
J'ai rejoins une famille d'américains et on a partagé 3 porteurs pour le groupe.
Les porteurs se sont rendus très utiles surtout pour les passages difficiles, puisque 90% de l'ascension s'est faite dans la boue. L'ascension était difficile mais la descente sans chute l'était tout autant. Mes chaussures et le bas de mon pantalon étaient couverts de boues.

National parks of volcanoes: climb the Bisoke volcano.
As for all the activities and tours in the national parks of volcanoes, go required to Kinigi Head Quarter at 7 specific times (Matching GPS: 1° 25 ' 56.87" S - 29° 35 ' 40.97" E).
For the ascent of the Bisoke volcano, a line of entrance from $75 will be asked to you.
Go to the foot of Bisoke in the village where the trek begins, it is essential to have a four-wheel drive (hire them for the day at $80).
Careful, it is drop of more than 1000 feet awaits you.
At the beginning of trekking, you can make you accompany a RWF carrier (7,000). Do not hesitate to take a bus from it not only it will be your suitcase but will also help you during quite difficult passages during the ascent.
You will be accompanied by Rwandan soldiers to protect you from possible attacks of wild buffalos.
Although the road linking the walk to the top of the volcano is just 4.44 km away, we took + 3:45 to climb it (+ at the speed of 1.3 mph!!!!).
The slope of the land and the lack of oxygen as the climb are there for much.
But the crossed landscapes and the show at the top are worth the will of it.
Beware, very greasy ground and the port of wellington or walking shoes are highly recommended (we were entitled to a storm in hail during the descent).
