Based on know-how inherited from Rwanda's textile history, Ibaba enables talented embroiderers and seamstresses to make a living from their art. The workshop creates unique (and beautiful) pieces, adapted to local and international markets. The collections are designed by Véronique Gamard, a French designer based in Rwanda, driven by a deep-seated desire to pass on, promote and support. Ibaba Rwanda is much more than an embroidery workshop: it's a project with a strong social impact, dedicated to women's emancipation and local development.
