Starred restaurant offering seafood, meats, and desserts in Port-en-Bessin.
An infinite view of the sea, a delight on the plate. A stopover is required in this starred restaurant. A table could not be better placed to imagine the landing of June 6, 1944. You have in front of you the remains of the artificial harbour that you can approach, if you have not already done so, for a digestive walk (everything depends on the tides, you will have understood it). Don’t worry about the diet and, barely, the wallet. The bill may be that of the grandest days, but the place is historic, as much as the dish that leaves us with an unforgettable memory. Utah oysters, fish (sole, sea bream, skate...) and seafood are king on the menu. Try the tuna carpaccio, capers and lime and the sardines just "flashed", as simple as they are melting. The starred chef also perfectly combines meat and poultry such as Angus beef, crispy chicken ballottine and never forgets the mussel-fried enthusiasts or vegetarians. The desserts are perfect, especially the rum baba! The service is top-notch and attentive, just the right thing. If you visit out of season, know that another "Marine", such a friendly little sister, awaits you in the middle of winter in Port-en-Bessin!

Le restaurant est super et les plats sont savoureux !
J ai adoré prendre mon petit déjeuner avec le levé du soleil sur la terrasse extérieure.
Petit moin pour l hotel en lui même mais étant une vieille batisse c est normal.
Je trouve que les chambres sont mal isolées et on sent un peu l humidité du bord de mer dans les chambres.
Sinon j ai bien dormi, draps et literie propre.
Réceptionniste sympa et accueillante.
Bon petit déjeuner mais rien d’exceptionnel. Des produits locaux normands pourraient être sympas. Prix du petit déjeuner : 14€ c’est vraiment abordable.
Les points négatifs :
- l’insonorisation est moyenne car on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir.
- nous avons bu un verre en terrasse très agréable face à la mer mais les tarifs sont vraiment abusés : 11€ la pinte de bière ! Plus chers qu’à Paris!
