BEGIJNHOF - BEGUINAGE

The Begijnhof is located in the south of the city and is a must-see attraction that has made Breda rightly famous. The complex of twenty-nine houses dates back to 1535 and consists of two parts, two hofjes (small courtyards) with a chapel, separated by an aromatic garden. At the entrance is the 15th century Walloon church. A beautiful place to walk around in silence and discover many interesting historical details. The museum is located at 29.
