MUZIEKGEBOUW FRITS PHILIPS

Superb concert hall with a varied program of rock, pop, jazz, blues, classical music, which attracts an eclectic audience. This venue is located in the Heuvel shopping center with its many stores. The venue is named after the son of one of the founders of the Philips company. The hall was inaugurated with great pomp and ceremony by Queen Beatrix (now a princess again) in 1992. The hall, with its renowned acoustics, is the home of the Zuidnederland Symphony Orchestra.
