This botanical garden, created in the 19th century in the Kralingen district, is home to many trees and plants from all over the world, including some very rare specimens. There are also nurseries, a greenhouse for cacti and succulents, a rose garden, a heather garden and a goldfish pond. The central part of the park, laid out in 1820 in the English garden style, is the oldest and most elaborate.
