Around Kosi Bay, there are several day walks, even without a guide, which are offered from the camp. Walking in the direction of the mouth, one will see the fishermen with their fish kraals, especially on the lake Makhawulani. At night, on the coast of Kosi Bay, the sand appears phosphorescent. The Mozambican border is a few kilometers from here, at the place called Ponta Do Ouro, where you can make a stopover if you feel like it. It is a Mecca for ocean and surf enthusiasts, as well as for scuba divers.
