Phinda Private Game Reserve is a 170 km² private game reserve in KwaZulu-Natal. It is renowned for its luxury accommodation and high-end safaris in a varied landscape. The reserve is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros) and 436 species of birds. It is particularly renowned for its close-up sightings of the elegant but elusive cheetah, as well as the rare black rhino.
