They come from Sydney or Biarritz, from here or elsewhere, to test the Supertubes, a legendary spot considered by surfers as one of the best in the world. When the wind blows, especially in winter, the resort becomes the capital of surfing to the point where you feel a bit naked without surfing. Famous spots: Albatross, Phantoms, The Point, Supertubes, Tubes, Magnatubes and Kitchen Windows. Several specialty shops in town, including Glen d'Arcy Surf Design, a board manufacturer. For the average swimmer, it's still hotter in the summer. For those who don't like to ride the waves, there is no point in going there.
