GREAT FISH POINT LIGHTHOUSE

An extraordinary site just the way we like it. A small octagonal lighthouse, 9 m high, built in 1898 on a hillock, 76 m above sea level. The immense and virgin beach is at your feet. Brave the access road in poor condition, and on a clear day you won't regret it! The place is ideal for a panoramic picnic. The lighthouse is automated, but a character welcomes you: it is the former keeper, who was the first coloured man in the country to hold such a position.
