Declared a nature reserve in 1985, Aquila extends over 10,000 hectares of rolling countryside, less than two hours from Cape Town. Here you'll meet elands, zebras, hippos, springboks... and the 5 Big Five. Traditional safari, horseback, quad, early morning or sunset: it's all possible. You can stay in chalets in the reserve, with two swimming pools and their bar overlooking the reserve, including a 35 m-long saltwater pool near the restaurant, and a boma where a fire burns in the evening.

Full day safari from R 1,990 per person (breakfast + lunch included). Half day safari from R1345 per person (breakfast included). Many other activities available: quad bike safari from R 2,810, horseback safari from R 2,440, sunset safari from R 995... Packages with accommodation from R 1 965.
