KALAHARI ORANJE MUSEUM COMPLEX

Several very white buildings set on a very green lawn on the banks of the Orange River. It was the development of this mission that gave birth to the city. The visit of the Kalahari Oranje Museum is very interesting: it retraces the local history, the creation of the concentration camps by the British and the resistance of the Blacks. A bronze donkey signed by Hennie Potgieter pays homage to all the donkeys who worked in the region.
