Just one of the first zoos in the world, at the same time amusement park with funicular, research centre, breeding place for endangered species. You will not regret the move. This establishment, the only one with a national status, spans over 60 hectares, with 140 mammal species, 320 bird species, and 300 fish from the Aquarium and the 90 Reptile Park bugs. A world apart, in full Pretoria. Thanks to the funicular, you can "fly" animals. But nothing is worth walking to see the hippopotamus hippopotamus, curious bongo, renew oryx, black hippotrague, white tiger with blue eyes, white lions of the Timbavati…

It is curious to recommend the visit a zoo in South Africa, while this country contains the beautiful and vast natural parks, and yet... The zoological gardens Pretoria show us giant animals in Africa to the smallest, I still remember corridor reptiles and I some cold in the back, the beautiful birds... Go that is really worth the detour!
It is undoubtedly one of the best zoos in the world, and largest. It is the zoo or the largest number of mammals. For those who prefer to see animals enclosure, it is a must. If not for those who prefer to see animals in freedom there are many parks in the vicinity.
