This restaurant wants to become completely autonomous. The building has grown "organically", the local soil has been used to build adobe walls, creating a "farmhouse" atmosphere. All dishes, tables and chairs have been designed and handcrafted by Karoo artisans. Elza made the crockery for her pottery workshop and the carpenter, Dawie, made the tables and chairs. The idea is to bridge the gap between the product, the farm and the final product. A greedy, fresh and exciting initiative.
