Museum housing an interesting collection of cave art dating back to the San period and recounting the story of miners in search of gold.

The museum is located in the halls of the old fruit and vegetable market of the district. Here, the most modern museographic techniques have been put to use in the service of the human and artistic history of the country. Interesting collection of cave art from the San period, the history of the miners in search of gold, life in the slums and jazz in the townships. The Tried for Treason exhibition allows visitors to relive the high treason trial that took place in 1956, after the adoption of the Freedom Charter, with 156 activists, including Nelson Mandela.
