Vietnam's first private international airport (Sun Group), inaugurated on December 30, 2018. It has an annual passenger capacity of 2.5 million, set to rise to 5 million by 2030. Domestic flights to/from Ho Chi Minh City and Danang. International flights to/from Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (South Korea), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Sydney (Australia). The airport is just a 1-hour drive from Halong City.
