Communal house built by the first inhabitants of rue Hang Bac, who specialized in smelting silver ingots.
This communal house (dinh) was built by the first inhabitants of Hang Bac Street, originally from the village of Trâu Khê (Hai Duong province), who specialized in casting silver ingots, in honor of the legendary founder of the trade, Hiên Viên. In 2004, the authorities of the capital took the decision to restore this historic building. Today, the dinh has regained its function of worship and conviviality for the inhabitants of the street.
