This pagoda is hidden among palm trees and other gigantic trees, and is still inhabited by Khmer bonzes

One enters here a bewitching world, almost unreal. Hidden in the middle of palm trees and other gigantic trees, the Hinayana Buddhist pagoda, whose name means Great Buddha, was founded in the 18th century by the Khmers. It is still inhabited by Khmer monks. Inside, 41 frescoes illustrate the story of Buddha with, under each scene, an explanation in Khmer and Vietnamese.
