The Mar de Fora beach is the most beautiful of them, but swimming is not allowed. During the day, it is the meeting point for surfers who come to face the powerful waves of the ocean. In the evening, it is the meeting place for pilgrims who come to admire one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. To take a dip, Langosteira beach, at the entrance to the town, is perfect. Stretching for about 2 km, it has a beautiful stretch of white sand, hemmed in by peaceful, crystal clear waters.
