Elegant Capuchin convent in A Coruña with important collections of Spanish and European paintings
In the elegant Capuchin convent, you can discover important collections of Spanish and European paintings from the 16th to the 20th century (Murillo, Zurbarán school, Sorolla, Rubens, Picasso) and, in particular, a valuable series of engravings by Goya. In the former are on display some representative paintings of Galician art (19th-20th centuries), including the flamboyant Wedding Luncheon and Popular Festival, painted by Sotomayor, and La Sierra de Guadarrama, by Ovidio Murguía.
