The most significant monument of the city, one of the best examples of Renaissance style in Aragon

It is the most significant Mudejar monument in the city. Its tower, roof and lantern tower are part of the Unesco heritage. Inside, the main wooden altarpiece (16th century) is considered one of the best examples of the Renaissance style in Aragon. But it is the Mudéjar roof from the end of the 13th century that is the jewel of the cathedral, with a profusion of figurative, geometric and plant decorations. It is advisable to take the guided tour that allows access to this jewel by climbing to the heights.

Superbe plafond intérieur en bois de l'époque mudéjar, il peut être vu de près avec la visite guidée et grâce à des balcons construits aux années 50 dans la partie supérieure de la nef proche du plafond. La tour est belle et l'extérieur également, le volume de l'intérieur est petit mais a été bien restauré. Le tmretable baroque en bois est aussi remarquable.

The wooden ceiling is painted with people, kings, animals fantastic or not and it shows the middle age life passing by and the culture and use of that time. The rest is gold and wood but not so nice. The museum is ok

encore sut teruel un témoignage medujar mauresque le plus beau surtout il faut aller le voir et passez absolument par teruel c'est un très eau souvenir surprenant et à la fois cohérent dans cette région semi désertique mais le cadre naturel est en adéquation avec le passé historique de cette ville
