A good part of the fortified enclosure of Segovia (which was originally more than 2 km long and 9 m high on average) is still in good condition today. After a visit to the indispensable information centre at the San Andrés Gate, it is possible to access the walled walkway and enjoy a magnificent view of the Jewish quarter in the foreground, as well as all the medieval splendour of Segovia and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Of course, a camera is obligatory and a visit is not to be missed.
