Castle of the Templar Order, nestled on a hill. This imposing fortress, one of the most important in northwestern Spain, has undergone numerous modifications since the time of the Templars. It is only inside the enclosure that one can see a beautiful set of 12th century fortifications. There is also a superb library where you can see more than a hundred old books that have been hidden for centuries. Don't miss a visit to the Mozarabic church of Santo Tomas de las Ollas, just 1 km away.
