The Iloa Leisure Center, with a snack bar, is a place of relaxation that encourages walking and all leisure activities.
At the gateway to the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park, a few minutes from the center of Thiers, the 70-hectare site includes a leisure center, the Thiers Dore et Montagne aquatic center and a Natura 2000 zone. In the middle of nature, this place of relaxation encourages walking and leisure activities: playgrounds, picnic areas with barbecue, orientation course, paddle and water bike rental, aquatic and inflatable park, mini-golf, etc. Swimming in the lake, which has been awarded the Blue Flag label, is supervised in summer. The community aquatic center is also very well equipped. A large sports pool of 25 x 400 m welcomes swimmers. It is completed by a leisure pool with a bubble bench, massaging jets, a counter-current river, an educational play lagoon and a 60-meter slide. Outside, a play area with water games is a delight for children, while their parents enjoy the terrace with deckchairs and umbrellas. There, young and old can learn to swim thanks to the swimming school. Baby swimmers from 6 months, teenagers and adults: everyone will find a suitable course. Sports activities are also organized: aquagym, aquatraining, aquabike, etc. The Iloa site also has a pond for fishing, as well as a snack bar and a campsite in the summer. A service area is available for campers. During the summer period, cultural (concerts, exhibitions...) and sports (races, canicross...) events animate the place.
