COMEDY CORRAL

It is the only corral (theater built in the sixteenth or seventeenth century) that exists today in Spain. It serves as a theater throughout the year, but in July it also hosts a renowned International Classical Theater Festival. Today it occupies a space of 300 square meters, surrounded by 52 painted wooden columns, compared to more than twice as many originally, and its patio is covered by a canvas that lets in natural light. Its stage has two different heights to give greater mobility to the theatrical action.
