A bucolic corner of Budapest unfolds along Római Part (the bank of the Danube), as far as the railroad bridge. In summer, small pebble coves offer sunbathing and even swimming for the more courageous (beware of the current). Bars and fish-fry stalls open their doors in fine weather. Nearby, you'll find what the Hungarians call a "beach" (strand), in reality a vast open-air summer aquatic complex (pools, slides...).
