A superb view of the Danube emerges from these seven white stone turrets linked by a tower since 1905.

In the Middle Ages, this was the site of the Fishermen's Bastion, a defended section of the town in the hands of the fishermen. This delicate white wall with seven towers was built for the Millennium celebrations between 1899 and 1905, in neo-Gothic style. From the Fishermen's Bastion, which never served any military function, the panorama of the city is nothing short of spectacular. The Bastion now houses a café and restaurant. Admission to the Bastion is charged during the day in high season.

Balade avec une vue magnifique
Le Bastion des pêcheurs permet de voir la ville de haut, qui offre une vue imprenable sur le Parlement notamment ! L’entrée est cependant payante, mais la vue vaut le détour !
