STADE PUSKÁS FERENC (PUSKÁS FERENC STADION)

With a capacity of 100 000 spectators, the former Stadium («People Stadium») was built between 1948 and 1953 and is in full restructuring. By climbing the stairs, we see the size of the stands and the enormity of the whole. At the foot of the stadium, we will discover a miniparc of statues: around a race track, a dozen Soviet sculptures represent sports and leisure scenes or soldiers to helmets that are glorified by the star. These relics of the Communist era seem to be still dozing as forgotten from everyone (they should be kept after the inauguration of the new stadium built on the old).
