Medieval castle of the 15th century retracing the history of the Clermont-Ferrand composer Georges Onslow through his life and his work.

This 14th-century château offers a fascinating journey through history. Restored in the romantic style of the 19th century, it will lead you in the footsteps of Auvergne composer George Onslow. His life and work are recounted through musical excerpts. Part of his musical library is preserved at the château. This is not the only credo of this Livradois-Forez monument. Captivating guided tours will take you through the various salons and numerous rooms, to discover the collections of furniture and objets d'art.

Het was wel mooi, maar niet echt voorbestemd voor Nederlandse touristen. Het Château is alleen te bezoeken met een tour gids die het heel erg duidelijk maakte dat het Château eerst bewoont was door Marquis DE Pierre. Je kon wel een gelamineerd A4-tje krijgen met de Engelse uitleg over de kamers en het Château.
