MUSÉE EL GRECO
This museum was created on the initiative of the very active Fodele Cultural Association, in a building believed to be El Greco's birthplace. The museum is located at the edge of this pretty, leafy village, and offers visitors the chance to admire copies of the artist's works, as well as a room set up as his studio. The museum often hosts exhibitions by contemporary Greek and international artists. A lovely café is located right next to the museum, while opposite, a beautiful Byzantine chapel is well worth a visit!
