In the middle of the Souk El Blat, this palace is hidden, former property of religious dignitaries settled in Tunis in the sixteenth century, then of the Naccache family, and finally of Hammouda Ben Abdelaziz. It is the rich Turkish family Bach-Hamba who will give the name and the prestige of this residence to its acquisition. The palace is currently the headquarters of the association l'Art Rue, which works for the democratization of the arts and the development of artistic residences in Tunis and in the medina in particular (more information on lartrue.org).
