EL TEATRO

Founded in 1987 by Taoufik Jebali (author and director) in an avant-garde spirit, El Teatro is a cultural Mecca in Tunis. It is a space for art and creation: a theater, a place for theatrical performances and other cultural events (screenings, conferences, debates, meetings ...). Even if the theater is relatively small (250 seats), the Tunisians speak of it as the meeting place of the city's entertainment people. The theater also offers since 2003 artistic trainings.
