CASTLE AND NATIONAL MUSEUM RÁKÓCZI (MAGYAR NEMZETI MÚZEUM RÁKÓCZI MÚZEUMA)

The restored Rákóczi castle is a masterpiece of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art. It is one of the few Hungarian castle that has not been completely destroyed. The rooms of the Vörös-torony (Red Tower) are decorated with beautiful sculptures. There is a small museum dedicated to the history of the castle and to that of viticulture in Tokaj. Cave winery is also visiting.
