SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH (RÁC TEMPLOM)
Church built in the late century, renowned for its magnificent iconostasis, the only one with its back to Eger.
This is the only church with its back to the city. Built in the late 18th century in the late Baroque style by the architect János Povolni, it is renowned for its magnificent iconostasis adorned with icons of saints, prophets and apostles. Restored in 1979, it now houses a museum dedicated to Orthodox liturgy and pilgrimages. The interior, with its Baroque pulpit, canopied altar and red pine pews, stands out from other Baroque churches in the area.
