This church is the smallest of Auvergne's five major Romanesque churches.
The church of Saint-Saturnin is the smallest of Auvergne's five major Romanesque churches. It is also the simplest. Built in the second half of the 12th century, it is distinguished by the absence of radiating chapels around the choir. The exterior is decorated with carvings and stone mosaics. Inside, the ornamentation remains sober. There is, however, an early 14th-century mural depicting the Annunciation and Resurrection of Lazarus. A 15th-century Pietà is preserved in the crypt.

Jolie bâtisse dominant ce charmant petit village auvergnat. La visite s'impose.
Let us not forget that its bell tower was spared by noble during the French revolution and that it was used as example the reconstruction of the others!
