Baroque-style medieval houses in Sopron with pleasant restaurants and small museums.
Lining the north side of the square, these houses were rebuilt in the 17th century in Baroque style. Today, their first floors are home to restaurants, while the upper floors house small museums run by the Soproni Múzeum. The Maison Fabricius features 17th-18th-century bourgeois interiors and a Roman lapidary in the basement. Courtyards and footbridges link several buildings, allowing visitors to move between the various sections.
