A remarkable house, with rococo ornamentation, given to the town of Sopron by King Sigismund, a site steeped in history.
It was donated to the town by King Sigismund in 1422 and served as the town hall until 1496. Subsequently, noble families became owners and enriched its architecture. The façade illustrates several styles: a Renaissance porte cochère, an ornate 17th-century Gothic pointed-arch entrance, 18th-century rococo windows and a row of Baroque corbels. Under the porch is a Gothic double bench.
