NOTRE-DAME DE SARLÓS CHURCH
Neo-Romanesque Catholic church with asymmetrical bell tower, an interesting address in Siófok.
This beautiful neo-Romanesque Catholic church, with its asymmetrical bell tower, dates from 1903. Above the entrance door is a painting by Endre Muzsinszky Nagy (1886-1975). The stained glass windows were made in Miksa Róth's studio. The tabernacle is the work of goldsmith István Madarassy. Behind the high altar, note the bearded Christ, with a crown of thorns, turning his head to the right, the work of a 17th-century Tyrolean master.
