Botanical garden in Vác, one of Hungary's most famous, a good place for a stroll. Various events in season.

This botanical garden is one of the most famous in Hungary. Founded in the 1870s by Count Vigyázo, this former English garden was later annexed by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for its scientific research. It takes a good two-hour walk to cover the 29 hectares and discover, with wonder, the thousands of species of trees preserved here in conditions close to their natural environment. Various animations and concerts in season.
