MEMENTO MORI (TRAGOR IGNÁC MÚZEUM)

During the renovation of the church in Vác in 1994, the crypt was uncovered, which housed no less than 262 painted coffins, most of which were in a very good state of preservation. Thanks to the special climate of the crypt where they were buried, the citizens of Vác from the 18th and 19th centuries are now revealed to curious visitors. To see: sacred objects, decorated sarcophagi and even mummies! Unique.
