Europe's only park dedicated to volcanoes, Vulcania offers a range of events and shows for all ages in Saint-Ours.
For over 20 years, the Vulcania park has been a unique tourist site in Europe, entirely dedicated to volcanoes and planet Earth. Nestled in the heart of Auvergne's volcanoes, the park offers an immersive experience combining discovery, emotions and sensations, thanks to animations, tours and shows. Three main worlds punctuate the visit: volcanoes, natural phenomena and the Earth in space.
Each season brings its own new features. In 2025, visitors were able to discover a brand-new version of La Terre en colère, an interactive experience based on extreme natural phenomena, as well as a brand-new summer night show, Vulcanova, la Nuit des Enchanteurs.
Among the must-see attractions are spectacular shows such as Le Réveil des Géants d'Auvergne, Abyss Explorer and Dragon Ride. The Namazu attraction, voted best European attraction in 2021, plunges visitors into a scientific base installed on a seismic fault: chills guaranteed! Since 2023, France's largest planetarium has enriched the visit. Its 22-meter-diameter immersive dome and its six family events, some of which are animated live by scientific mediators, open up spectacular new windows onto the sky and space.
The park is also designed for the youngest visitors, from the age of 3. Spaces such as the Cité des Enfants, a real place of experimentation for little scientists, allow them to have fun while learning. For children, the Maison and Galerie Pitoufeu, indoor and outdoor play areas, are ideal for letting off steam. For the whole family, discover the Experimental Corner: fun workshops led by scientific mediators to help you understand the forces of nature. At Vulcania, learning becomes a fun adventure!
Outdoors, alone, with friends or family, visitors can stroll through the Forest of Dragons, populated by fantastic creatures from legends around the world, all different from one another, to surprise and amaze young and old alike.
To extend the adventure, Vulcania also offers all-inclusive packages, including admission to the park, accommodation with breakfast, and additional activities such as the Panoramique des Dômes or theMichelinAdventure . The theme of volcanoes
Discover the fascinating world of volcanoes with dynamic animations (Awakening of the Auvergne giants, Sacred Volcanoes, Abyss Explorer...) and scientific animations (Volcano drones, Experiment Corner...). Thanks to the Chaîne des Puys animation narrated by our animators, become untold about these Auvergne volcanoes whose ensemble formed with the Limagne Fault was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018

The theme of natural phenomena
Experience the power of terrestrial, atmospheric and marine phenomena in dynamic animations (Namazu, Dragon Ride 2, Angry Earth...), and take the time to better understand these manifestations of nature with the animation Earthquakes told by our animators, the films Hurricane and Snow. Outdoors, walk through the Forest of Dragons in the middle of nature.

Visit the scientific base of the Namazu team, which has set up its seismology monitoring and research laboratory on a particularly unstable fault, and join the seismologists on the ground with our specially designed all-terrain vehicles to access the rugged areas (family coaster with immersive preshow and exhibition in animation exit).
The theme of the Earth in Space
To better understand and apprehend our planet, it is necessary to take height, and thus altitude.
Discover all the secrets of the blue planet in the interactive Machine Terre space and explore the Earth from the sky with a scientific animator during a Planet Unveiled session.

Discover Vulcania's brand new show: Vulcanova, la Nuit des Enchanteurs. In ancient times, the Arvernes, a Celtic people, masters of fire and the forge, erected a sacred gate to contain the wrath of Lug, god of fire, the arts and the balance of the world. An ancient prophecy whispered that if Men betrayed their pact with Mother Nature, the volcanoes would awaken again. Only Danu, the enchantress of the waters, could appease the divine fury. Vulcanova, la Nuit des Enchanteurs is a magical show combining music, light, mapping and special effects.

Discover the pride and nobility that these wild birds have retained, reflected in the silent flight of the owl, the high flight of the falcon and the low flight of the Harris's hawk, not forgetting the powerful flight of the eagle.
