On the mouth of the river of the same name, this small village is often the first stop when arriving from Moín, which is about fifty kilometers further south. Accessible only by plane or by boat, Parismina offers the charm of these isolated and preserved places. An ecotourism is developing there, with travelers curious to observe its marine turtles and its intact nature. On the edge of the Tortuguero Park, it is also a well-known meeting point for river fishermen, lovers of the combative tarpon. Yellowfin tuna, barracuda, wahoos and, of course, tarpon are caught here almost year round.
