MERCADO MAYOREO

Just a few minutes walk from downtown Alajuela, this beautiful and typical market is worth a visit. It gathers local fruit and vegetable producers, and stalls offering anything and everything in a festive atmosphere. Only open in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays, a visit to the market is an opportunity to soak up the local atmosphere. You will be able to awaken all your senses thanks to the colors of the stalls and by taking the time of course to taste the different varieties of products offered.
