FUBO HILL
Hill home to the Grotte de la Perle Restituée, where Buddhist bas-reliefs are carved in stone
Located to the northeast of the city, Fubo Hill stands isolated. Rising to 213 metres, it overlooks the Li River and offers one of the finest views of Guilin and its karst landscape. Its name derives from General Fubo, who, according to legend, fought invaders here. Here you'll discover the Cave of a Thousand Buddhas, adorned with ancient sculptures from the Tang dynasty, and the Retained Pearl Cave, famous for its limestone formations. Climbing its paths, you reach a summit offering a breathtaking view of the city.
