The charming city of Wuzhou is nestled on the edge of some twenty mountains. The hills occupy 80% of its scope. The parks, the traditional architecture, the markets make Wuzhou a rather pleasant stage, far from the tourist sites of the region. Often simple transit point before joining Yangshuo, Wuzhou deserves one day. Over 2,000 years old, it was under the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) that it became important and became the political and military center of Guangdong Province and Guangxi. Today, Wuzhou is the most important city in south-eastern Guangxi. Its geographical proximity with Hong Kong, Macao and Canton has earned it the opportunity to become a coastal economic zone in 1988, at the port with many countries. And, of course, the city has become the largest inland waterway port in China.
