Grotto featuring stalagmites and stalactites, illuminated by an array of red, blue and pink lights
Yiling Grotto, located in the eponymous village 18 km from Nanning, is a karst formation estimated to be over a million years old. Nicknamed "Gan Palace" in the Zhuang language, meaning "a place as beautiful as a palace", it extends over 24,000m2 and three levels. During your visit, you'll discover stalagMites (which rise) and sTalacTiTes (which fall) illuminated by an array of red, blue and pink lights. If you have a little time, the surrounding karst landscape is well worth exploring.
