Nanning has three main railway stations. Nanning Railway Station (南宁站), located in the city center, is the most convenient option for regional travel. The more modern Nanning East Station (南宁东站), located to the east of the city, is the main hub for high-speed trains connecting the major metropolises of southern China. Finally, the newer Nanning West Station (南宁西站) serves some high-speed lines. To Guilin (2h30, 120 RMB), Guangzhou (3h, 250 RMB), Kunming (3h, 300 RMB) and Hanoi by night train (10-13h, 250 RMB).
