Built in 558, the temple is located at the foot of the Phoenix mountain. It was officially christened Guanghua Temple in 976 by Emperor Taizong. The building is a true model of the Fujian architecture. In recent years, the temple has undergone a few renovations to restore its ancient splendour. It is a place frequented by pilgrims and tourists and its visit is particularly pleasant.
