The "Niu family court" is an exception to Lijiang: It's one of the few houses to have avoided the renovation of red lacquer and to have preserved the beautiful original black timber. The Niu family is very welcoming, the rooms are clean and sunny, the small but clean health. The house is in a pretty quiet street. Recommended.
